And yet here I am, in the middle of a love triangle with the aforementioned critically-acclaimed Pultitzer-deserving authors. Deepa professed her undying love with “XXOO” (pictured) which I understand to mean “kiss kiss hug hug”. As I’ve never seen Deepa give a hug OR a kiss to anyone (and is generally quite cold to everyone – especially Matt Chotin), this really shows the depth of her feelings for me. I’m one man among thousands of Flex Developers, and while my knack for data-driven controls DOES set me apart, I would trade all my updateDisplayLists for just one more “XXOO” (pictured) from Deepa.

Professions of LoveBut then, Doug gave me his heart (pictured). And while Deepa is a Flex guru, Doug is a Flex Machine. And how can I say no to that? Choosing between Deepa and Doug is like choosing between the perfect woman and Brad Pitt. How many of us, as happy as we are in our respective relationships, wouldn’t jump ship for a chance to get with Brad? I know I would! However, unlike the rest of you, I’ve been given the chance to do just that with the Flex world’s Brad Pitt. Doug McCune, you gave me your heart (pictured) and I give you mine (not pictured) in return. Deepa, for this I’m truly sorry. However, if things don’t work out between me and Doug, you can bet I’ll come crawling back to you. And if you tell me I missed my chance… well, I hope my wife will still take me back.

Okay Doug, I’m flipping a coin for which of us gets to lead when we dance. Call it in the air…
